BenchForce 24 Pin Inline ROM Boot Switch for Cummins ECU Harnesses

Traditionally, BenchForce has supported the Cummins ROM Boot feature by (1) ECU harness(es) that have the ROM boot wiring and (2) through a required momentary ROM boot switch located exclusively within the PowerBlock IV Switch Assembly.

Use this harness to add our momentary ROM Boot switch to your bench and use ANY PowerBlock Switch Assembly like PowerBlock II or PowerBlock Enthusiast to fully support ROM Boot for supported Cummins ECU harnesses.

How to use this harness:

1. Connect one end of this harness to PowerBlock.
2. Connect the other end to a Cummins ECU Harness.
3. The ECM must be powered down. (Ignition switch off but battery power connected.)
4. Hold the ROM Boot switch on.
5. Power the ECM and bench equipment.
6. Attempt to flash the ECM with your recovery file.
7. Once the flash is underway you can turn off the ROM Boot switch.
